A Year Later (give or take)




You see these hands?  All scratched up, beaten and worn?  These are the hands that have been through hell in a hand basket this last year and a half.  Wow!  So much has happened and I truly feel like a new and better person.  Isn't it crazy to think you could be going through weight of the world type stress yet feel more fulfilled than ever at the same time?  
I am reminded of the way I felt about 4 years ago.  I had a nice house, was making plenty of dough, felt pretty healthy, didn't really have much stress or drama besides a heavy workload, and I remember thinking I had everything I wanted short of winning the lotto and never having to work again, but it was all too perfect.  It was all too neat, clean and tidy.  My hair was so linear, you could eat off my floors!  I just didn't feel alive.  I needed a struggle. I needed some dirt.  I needed to mess my hair up and dig in some dirt, and paint and feel the urgency of getting something accomplished, and live in a mice infested home with dirt and crumbs and spiders...  I
